Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Night Shift | Schedule varies, 6:30 PM – 6:30 AM

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care to neonatal patients in an intensive care unit setting
Monitor and assess the condition of critically ill newborns, responding promptly to changes in patient status
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
Accurately document patient information and care activities using Cerner electronic health records
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in NICU
AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification required
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

Proficiency with Cerner electronic health record system
Experience with high-acuity neonatal patient populations
Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills in a fast-paced NICU environment
