Part-Time Financial Administrator

• Chicago family office seeks part-time Bookkeeper to support Director of Accounting & Administration and family members.
• Two or three days weekly, on site (downtown Chicago).
• Provide support for the day-to-day financial operations and administration of the office, assisting family and its team of accountants, estate attorneys and investment professionals in management of the operation.
• Assist in the generation of monthly / quarterly reports (cash reports, balance sheets, foundation gifting reports).
• Provide support and administration for property management matters (i.e., engage with property managers).
• Assist with personal family matters: travel arrangements, bill pay, organizing functions, research, etc.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience, preferably in accounting, family office management, banking, or legal office.
• Ability and desire to work independently in a quiet office setting.
• Expertise in accounting, financial reporting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Only local, Chicago area applicants will be considered.
