Architectural Engineer

ACME Sheet Metals, Inc. is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Architectural Engineer to join our team in Box Elder, SD. As an Architectural Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of architectural sheet metal products for a variety of projects. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about innovation, collaboration, and creating sustainable solutions to meet our clients' needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clients, architects, and other stakeholders to design and engineer custom sheet metal products
• Create detailed drawings and specifications for manufacturing and installation
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations to ensure product integrity and safety
• Utilize CAD software to develop 2D and 3D models of architectural designs
• Work closely with production teams to oversee the fabrication and assembly processes
• Provide technical support and guidance throughout all project phases
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and innovation projects

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field
• Professional Engineer (PE) licensure preferred
• 3+ years of experience in architectural engineering or related field
• Proficiency in CAD software and other design tools
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
